Process & Treatment
Although improvement can be noted after a single treatment, multiple sessions are required. This is because hair grows in what we refer to as “phases”. Because the end target is the blood vessel, we need to treat the hairs that are in anagen phase to have permanent results. At any given time only 20% of our hair is in anagen phase. This is why most patients require 6-8 treatments. Facial hair should be done 4-6 weeks apart, and body hair 6-8 in order to catch all the growth cycles.
Most patients see a 10-25% reduction in hair growth with each treatment.

If you wished to opt for a pre-treatment consultation, same day treatment is often possible and is usually discussed at the time of booking the consultation.
Do note that there may be certain safety factors that may influence same day bookings, such as recent sun exposure (4 weeks), the use of artificial tanning solutions and certain prescription medications.
Upon arrival at Captivating, our friendly front office team will greet you and our skilled laser technician will review any concerns before performing your treatment.
The technician will review any medications, topical therapies or other factors such as a fresh tan or tanning solutions that With the use of the topical cooling zimmer system.
Following the treatment your laser technician will provide you with any necessary post care instructions, as well as booking you in for your next scheduled treatment. You will then you will be free to go on with your day as normal!
